Erie, Pa- July 21, 2014.
The Second Annual Elite Challenge Cup is being held at Family First Sports Park on Sept. 26 to 28. The Erie Admirals created the event in order to feature the top soccer teams in the central region of the US and parts of Canada. This year’s tournament will feature over 107 teams from Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Indiana, and Southern Ontario. The players will range in the age brackets of eight to 14 years old.
Mark Shokalook on Sportsblitz promoting Erie Admirals & Family First Sports Park!
The co-owner of the Erie Admirals, Mark Shokalook, was a guest on the SportsBlitz to discuss the upcoming Elite Challenge Cup Tournament Sept. 26 to 28. He, along with co-owner Sam Tojaga, have been helping to promote soccer in the area through a variety of tournaments. They will also be holding a “Soccer in the Sand” Tournament at Presque Isle on August 2nd.
